Physical Description:His hair is black and messy, his eyes are green, he wears ugly glasses and even uglier clothing that tend to fall off at the drop of a hat. He is toned and lithe, sometimes boarding on far too thin, and gangly. He's got knobby knees, which he tends to hide, and a slightly feminine face.
Personality:Harry is an easy-going, impulsive, reckless teenager with a penchant for extreme guilt trips that infrequently result in bad outpourings of accidental magic and occasionally the throwing of something across the room. He can be anything from quiet and withdrawn and subdued to loud and outgoing. He is easy to make friends with, but just as quick to make enemies. He has a strong sense of right and wrong and that tends to muddle things when there should be shades of gray. His skills involve angry outbursts, leadership, bad kissing and dancing, not being able to control an odd monster in his chest, being unable to sucessfully weild a razor, eating sandwiches, going camping, and gaining sympathy. He also has this annoying habit of needing to save everyone.
Sexuality: Heterosexual, but he might secretly like boys that way.
Education: Seven years of Primary school, and six years of tutelage at Hogwarts, followed by an intense study session to prepare for his NEWTs so he could be in the Auror program ASAP

History

Harry James Potter was born to Lily Evans Potter and James Potter on July 31, 1981. They lived in a cottage in Godric's Hollow, a nice sort of place, under a Fidelius Charm which kept them-and their cat-hidden and safe. Their Secret Keeper, supposedly Sirius Black, but ended up being Peter Pettigrew ended up being more rat like than the small family imagined and turned the Potters over to the Dark Lord Voldemort. Thus, Voldemort found their home and destroyed it, killing first James Potter, who made a rash attempt to let his wife and son get away, and ended up falling dead on the stairs. With one Potter down, the evil menace found Lily Potter desperately shielding her son, Harry, from the Dark Lord's wrath.

What the family didn't know was that Voldemort knew there was a prophecy stating that the child born at the end of July would be marked as his equal. Thus he made the decision to kill the Potters and their son, instead of the Longbottoms and their son who was born just the day before Harry was. Thus, Voldemort killed Lily who in a last ditch attempt to save her son sacrificed herself and created something of a bond. So therefore, when Voldemort, the homewrecker that he is, tried to kill one-year-old Harry that Halloween, the curse rebounded and struck Voldemort instead, killing his body and setting his soul free to wander.

Baby Harry was left alone in the rubble of his home squalling and crying with a lightning bolt scar on his forehead. Sirius Black and Rebeus Hagrid were first on the scene and when Sirius saw the destruction and heard the instructions that Dumbledore had given Hagrid, he gladly gave up his motorbike to Hagrid to bring young Harry to safety. With Hagrid gone, Sirius hunted down Peter Pettigrew and in the middle of a crowded Muggle street, tried to kill the traitor, only to have Peter cast a spell at the ground bursting it open and killing 13 Muggles in the process. Peter then cut off his own finger and transformed into his animagus form and ran away, one finger less.

Sirius was framed for both the murder of all those Muggles and Pettigrew aka Wormtail and was sentenced to life imprisonment at Azkaban. While all this was happening, on a nice suburban street in Surrey, there stood a cat, an elderly man, and very shortly a very large man on a motorbike with a baby.

Albus Dumbledore, in his infinite wisdom, decided that leaving young Harry with his Muggle relatives, ones that would later emotionally, mentally, and sometimes physically abuse the little boy, was a smashing good idea. Of course, there were some who opposed this, but their opinions didn't matter.

Therefore Harry Potter grew up thinking his father was an alcoholic, his mum was a whore, and they both died in a terrible car accident. To make matters worse, he slept in a cupboard with only spiders to keep him company. His cousin, Dudley Dursely, who is his age, liked to play Harry hunting which involved hunting Harry, and then kicking the crap out of him. His Uncle Vernon condoned this violent action and sometimes employed the same methods to keep Harry in line. His emotional scarring came from his aunt, his last living blood relative who spurned him at every turn.

It wasn't until his 11th birthday that Harry found out the truth. Hagrid came to the hut on the rock where Harry's family decided to take an impromptu vacation. He told Harry that he was a wizard, a famous one, and that he would have way more fun at this really neat-o place called Hogwarts.

Thus Harry went with Hagrid, a complete stranger with an odd umbrella, and went to Diagon Alley. There he got his first wand, his first pet, and met his first enemy. Hedwig was a pretty white owl, his wand was the twin of Voldemorts which Olivander took great pleasure in mentioning, and Draco Malfoy was a complete prat.

Harry's experiences at Hogwarts could be considered abnormal, but sadly for him it was all very normal. Harry argued with the Sorting Hat and got placed in Gryffindor instead of Slytherin. He made friend's with Ron Billius Weasley, and all the other first year boys. At Halloween, he made friends with one Hermione Jane Granger by saving her from a troll.

The end of his first year, got him in a hole defeating his Defense teacher, defeating Voldemort and saving the day.

In his second year he killed a Basilisk and stabbed a journal thus killing Tom Riddle aka Voldemort and saving Ginerva Molly Weasley and saved the day once again.

In his third year, he was being chased by the afore mentioned Sirius Black, found out Sirius' innocence, discovered Remus Lupin's fun disease of lycanthropy and Harry didn't exactly save the day.

In his fourth year, he accidentally got thrown into a tournament despite his young age and inexperience almost died twice in the process and at the end of it all ended up getting a good friend killed and aided in Voldemort's rebirth.

In his fifth year, Harry sank into depression and became bipolar, screaming at his friends and becoming despondent. He also took on some leadership roles he didn't want thanks to Hermione and at the end of the year got his godfather, Sirius, killed by a curtain, got possessed by Voldemort, and did not save the day....again....

In his sixth year, he started to 'date' Ginny Weasley (it was more like snogging her whenever possible to work on his skills and to tame a strange chest monster), became obsessed with Draco Malfoy and Severus Snape, ended up discovering why Voldemort just wouldn't die, and aided in the death of one Albus Dumbledore. Snape might have cast the curse, but Harry didn't help by poisoning the old man.

In his seventh year, Harry took to the woods in a year long camping trip from hell, that resulted in torture, kidnapping, beestung lips, general idiocy, Snape being headmaster of Hogwarts, Neville being badass, scruffy faces, smelly bodies, broken wands, fairy tales, almost drowning, betrayal, death and resurrection, having an excessively long chat with a long dead Dumbledore, multiple deaths, a wedding, a birth, fiendfyre, the decapitation of a snake, and Voldemort biting the dust.

Once everything calmed down for Harry, he went back to studying, took to looking after his godson, Teddy, and joining the Aurors to help rebuild the MoM.
